These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the relationship between you (the “Customer”) and Cheap Booking Site, a company incorporated and operating under the laws of India (hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” “we,” or “our”). By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not proceed with the booking or use any services provided by the Company.
All bookings must be made through our official website, authorized agents, or customer service team. Bookings are considered confirmed only when the Company issues a booking confirmation.
b) Deposit and Full Payment
A deposit of [specific percentage or amount] is required to confirm the booking as specified in the payment terms during the booking. The full payment must be made no later than [7 days] prior to the departure date, unless otherwise specified. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods available at the time of booking or as advised by our support team.
c) Currency
All prices, charges, and payments will be processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed. Overseas payment can be made via wire transfer directly to the company account.
d) Price and Availability
All prices quoted are subject to change and availability. The final price will be confirmed at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to alter the price due to reasons beyond its control, such as changes in government taxes, fees, or exchange rates.
3) Travel Insurance
It is highly recommended that Customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost baggage, or any other unforeseen events during the tour.
4) Changes to Itinerary or Services
a) Before Departure
The Company reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary, accommodation, transport, and other services due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, operational requirements, or force majeure. Customers will be notified of any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.
b) After Departure
If changes occur after the tour has commenced due to external factors (e.g., weather conditions, political instability), the Company will make reasonable efforts to ensure the tour proceeds in an acceptable manner.
5) Cancellations and Refunds
a) Customer Cancellation
Customers can cancel their booking by notifying the Company in writing. The following cancellation charges apply:
i) Nominal service fee if cancelled before 30+ before departure.
ii) 10% of the tour cost if cancelled 30 days before departure.
iii) 25% of the tour cost if cancelled between 15 and 30 days before departure.
iv) 50% of the tour cost if cancelled between 15 and 7 days before departure.
v) No refund if cancelled within 7 days of departure or after departure.
Note:- Inspite of above cancelation policy there may be exception where tickets are non refundable or non changeable. In such scenarios we will not be able to process refund of the said component.
b) Company Cancellation
The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour in cases of insufficient participants, force majeure events, or other operational issues. If the tour is canceled by the Company, customers will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative tour.
6) Customer Responsibilities
a) Documents and Travel Requirements
It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that all travel documents (e.g., passports, visas, medical certificates, etc.) are valid and meet the requirements of the destinations included in the itinerary. The Company will not be liable for any issues arising from improper documentation.
b) Health and Fitness
Customers must be in good health and physically capable of participating in the activities outlined in the itinerary. Certain tours may require specific fitness levels. If a customer has any medical condition that may affect their participation, they should notify the Company in advance.
c) Behavior and Conduct
Customers are expected to behave in a respectful manner during the tour. The Company reserves the right to terminate a customer’s participation in the tour if their behavior is disruptive, dangerous, or in violation of local laws and regulations. In such cases, no refund will be given.
7) Liability
a) Limitations of Liability
The Company acts as an intermediary for services provided by third-party suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, local operators). Therefore, the Company’s liability is limited to the provision of its services as an agent for these third-party suppliers. The Company will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage caused by third parties, including but not limited to airlines, hoteliers, or transport companies.
b) Force Majeure
The Company will not be liable for any delays, cancellations, or failures to provide services resulting from force majeure events, such as natural disasters, political instability, war, terrorism, or any other events beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
8) Special Requests
If a Customer has special requests (e.g., dietary preferences, accessibility requirements), these must be communicated at the time of booking. While the Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, they are not guaranteed.
9) Complaints
If the Customer has any complaints regarding the services provided during the tour, they must inform the Company immediately, either directly or through the tour leader. The Company will work to resolve any issues promptly. Complaints made after the completion of the tour may not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances.
10) Privacy and Data Protection
The Company collects and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By booking a tour, Customers consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of processing the booking, fulfilling services, and communicating with them.
11) Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration, with the seat of arbitration being in [Delhi, India], in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
12) Miscellaneous
a) Transfer of Booking
Customers may transfer their booking to another person, subject to approval by the Company and payment of an administration fee.
b) Severability
If any part of these Terms is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
c) Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on the Company’s website.
13) Safaris, Adventure Activities, and Injuries
a) Safari and Adventure Activity Participation
Certain tours offered by Cheapbookingsite include safaris, trekking, wildlife excursions, or other adventure activities. These activities can involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries, wildlife encounters, accidents, or environmental hazards. By participating in these activities, the Customer acknowledges and accepts these risks.
The Company strives to ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner by professional guides and operators, and that all safety measures are followed according to industry standards. However, Customers must be aware of their own physical limitations and should assess their ability to undertake these activities. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform the Company of any pre-existing medical conditions, fitness concerns, or other relevant factors that may affect their participation.
b) Safety Precautions and Guidelines
The Company will provide Customers with necessary safety guidelines and instructions before participating in any safari or adventure activity. Customers are required to follow these instructions and guidelines at all times for their own safety and the safety of others. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in the Customer being asked to leave the activity, with no refund offered.
c) Medical and Emergency Situations
In the event of an accident or injury during a safari or adventure activity, the Company will take reasonable steps to provide first aid and ensure that emergency services are contacted. However, the Company is not liable for any medical treatment or expenses arising from injuries sustained during the activity. Customers are strongly advised to have appropriate travel and medical insurance that covers medical expenses, evacuation, and any additional costs related to injuries or accidents.
d) Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company, its employees, agents, contractors, and partners harmless from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of participation in safaris or adventure activities, including but not limited to personal injury, death, loss, or damage to property.
14) Wildlife and Environmental Impact
The Company is committed to responsible tourism and adheres to local and international guidelines for wildlife conservation and environmental protection. Customers are expected to respect wildlife and natural habitats during safaris or other related activities. The following rules and regulations must be observed:
i) No interaction with wildlife: Customers must not attempt to feed, touch, or disturb animals during safaris. Wild animals should always be viewed from a safe and respectful distance.
ii) Respect for the environment:Customers are expected to leave no trace and avoid littering in natural reserves, national parks, and other protected areas.
iii) Compliance with local regulations: All Customers must adhere to the rules and regulations of wildlife sanctuaries, reserves, and national parks. This includes restrictions on photography, behavior around animals, and movement within the park.
Failure to comply with these regulations may result in the termination of the tour or activity, with no refund issued.
15) Special Considerations for Safari and Adventure Activity Bookings
a) Age and Health Restrictions
Certain safaris or adventure activities may have age or health restrictions. These will be clearly stated at the time of booking, and Customers must ensure they meet these criteria before booking. The Company reserves the right to refuse participation in any safari or activity if the Customer does not meet the required age or health conditions.
b) Minimum Participants for Safari or Activity
Some safari or adventure activities require a minimum number of participants to proceed. If the required number of participants is not met, the Company reserves the right to cancel the activity, and Customers will be offered a full refund or an alternative tour or activity.
c) Optional Travel Add-ons
Customers may choose to book additional travel services (e.g., private safaris, custom adventure experiences, guided tours, etc.). Cancellation and refund policies for these services will be based on the terms provided by the third-party service providers.
16) Disclaimer for Safari and Adventure Activity Participants
While every effort is made to ensure safety and comfort during safaris and adventure activities, the Company is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or disruption that may occur as a result of participating in these activities. By booking and participating in any safari or adventure activity, the Customer acknowledges that they are aware of the risks involved and voluntarily assume responsibility for their participation.
17) Cancellations and Refund Policy for Safaris and Adventure Activities
a) Customer Cancellations for Safari or Adventure Activity
If a Customer decides to cancel participation in a safari or adventure activity, the following cancellation charges will apply in addition to the general cancellation policy outlined earlier:
1) More than 30 days before the scheduled activity: 25% of the total cost of the safari or adventure activity will be refunded.
ii) Between 15-30 days before the scheduled activity:50% of the total cost of the safari or adventure activity will be refunded.
iii) Less than 15 days before the scheduled activity: No refund will be provided. The Company reserves the right to make adjustments to these cancellation terms based on the specific requirements of third-party service providers involved in the safari or adventure activity (e.g., wildlife reserve operators, specialized guides, etc.).
b) Company Cancellations for Safari or Adventure Activity
The Company may cancel a safari or adventure activity under the following circumstances:
i) Insufficient participation:If the minimum number of participants required for the safari or activity is not met, the Company may cancel the activity. The Customer will receive a full refund for the cost of the safari or activity
ii) Force Majeure:If the safari or activity is cancelled due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, political instability, or any other force majeure events, the Company will provide the Customer with the option to reschedule or receive a partial refund. However, in most cases, a full refund may not be possible.
c) Refunds and Compensation
If a safari or adventure activity is cancelled by the Company for reasons other than force majeure, the Customer will receive a full refund for the activity, but will not be entitled to additional compensation for any other incurred costs (e.g., accommodation, transport, etc.).
In cases where the safari or adventure activity is partially completed or altered due to weather, operational reasons, or other unavoidable circumstances, the Company may offer a partial refund based on the portion of the activity that was not completed. However, refunds will not be granted for any portion of the activity that was carried out.
This section of the Terms and Conditions should be carefully reviewed and understood by the Customer prior to booking any safari, wildlife, or adventure activities with the Company. It is also strongly recommended that Customers have appropriate travel insurance that includes coverage for activities such as safaris, trekking, and other adventure-based tours.
